"SLI helped us relieve budget constraints on expanding capacity with our EMC Isilon storage platform. In September of 2016 we purchased 3 refurbished NL400-144 nodes to replicate one of our primary Isilon Data Stores. The nodes were wrapped with a 3 year 24x7x4Hr support contract. The savings were substantial which led us to think of SLI again in June of 2017 when we needed more capacity. We purchased 2 more NL400-144 nodes also wrapped and co-termed with the 3-year original support contract. Working with Scale Logic on these projects was painless. The equipment and support has been great and their expertise has served our bottom line cost reduction strategy well."

"We primarily a 2D animation studio that relies heavily on our server in our workflow. There are many stages in the animation process, so the ability to work directly off the server and sharing files is critical. After a less than successful attempt with a different brand, we decided to go with a brand that we have used in the past and trusted; EMC Isilon. Because of the amount of space we needed, the desired ability to have offsite disaster recovery backups, and the need for increased connection speed for a large number of users we began pricing out various EMC Isilon models. When we realized the expense required for the equipment needed to achieve everything we wanted, we almost decided to change gears and think of another solution entirely. But, luckily for us, Scale Logic was able to offer us everything we were looking for if we were willing to use refurbished equipment rather than new from the factory. The term “refurbished” doesn’t have the best ring to it and we were skeptical at first. "We have been happy with our service from Scale Logic since they began providing support for our ECM VNX7500 Unified System. Being able to have an onsite spares kit is a great idea as it allows us to respond quickly to many hardware related issues without delay and then just wait for a shipment to replenish our spares kit. They have been great about responding promptly when they are notified of a warning or alert. Once provided with log information, they are also prompt on reviewing the data and notifying us on any needed actions items.“
